Top tips for dog owners for an enjoyable stay at Rockmount

In the house:

You can find a water bowl and accompanying tray in the cupboard under the sink.

If you would like to wash off muddy paws after a walk, there is an outdoor tap on the back external wall of the house.

Your furry friend is free to roam the gated patio area around the front and back of the house. We are currently working on making the back garden more dog-friendly, but for now you may want to keep them close by or on the lead when enjoying this space.

We request that you keep your pooch off the furniture; a tried and tested spot for sleeping is on the rug next to the fireplace.

Salcombe is extremely dog-friendly, and pooches are allowed in most pubs and shops in town.

If your pet requires medical assistance, the closest vets are South Moor Vets and the Selworthy Veterinary Group in Kingsbridge. We would encourage you to keep an eye out for ticks on your pet when returning from walks.
